Hey, hope you enjoy following my 365 Blog as much as I will enjoy making the photos to share! Creating a 365 Blog has been a goal of mine for several years now but I am finally getting around to it. Thanks go to Mr. Bessey for encouraging several of use to get on board with a group to encourage each other to success this year. Anyways this blog isn't about literature, so I won't talk your ear off and I will get to making photos!

Day 30
I know this photo breaks a lot of rules and is not something I would normally do... But I honestly love the beauty of this photo. The clean composition is one of my favorite aspects of it knowing I created this photo while my camera was sitting on my dash.

Day 29
First day of my two night classes. This was a quick shot from my car tonight at Cypress College. I have spent many years at this school and God has carried (or dragged) me a long way from when I first started here. This will be my last semester here but I'll never forget all the lessens I learned and some good friends made along the way.

Day 19
This was taken near my friend's cabin in the Paso Robles Wine Country. I really loved the blue skies that day contrasted on the dry brush; simple but relaxing to look at.

I always get these little guys when I am down in Mexico! I have several more but they didn't make as good of a photo. The light coming in from the right is my iPhone.

Day 10
Disclaimer... I am having trouble getting this photo upload properly. It is much shaper then what you are seeing... This almost looks like a painting :/
This image may not be all that appealing but what is pretty fascinating to me is the power behind the sensor of my camera... Let me explain. This photo was all done at an Iso of "high 2.0" for my camera this is four settings higher then Iso 6400. This is pretty impressive to me because the grain is virtually not there... I also took this picture at 1/30 second and was holding it in my hand. I am continually blown away by the power of the Nikon D800.

Day 7
God's creation takes my breath away every time I look at it... Days like today are hard to avoid and trying to recreate a sunset through a camera tends to be one of the harder categories in photography for me. This is just one of the many moments from tonights breath taking sunset.

Day 6
Sometimes as humans I think we post only the highlights of our lives or the world around us... This picture represents both for me. The messiness of my bed shows that I slept in (7:10am) and had to rush to an approximately twelve hour day at work. This speaks valume to the fact that life moves faster then we can handle at times. The highlights from this photo is I have a warm bed to return to after a long day at work and my good old pal Tiger eagerly awaits me! Don't be afraid to show your unpolished edges at times. Biggest (there are more then one) photo critique of the day; for my self... Use fill card for extra subject light! Oh well...

Day 4
This photo will probably remain one of my least favorites in regards to technicality but I spent most of the time goofing off with my nephew! So even though it doesn't have that initial "WOW!" factor it gets ideas turing in my head and will definitely spark memories of spending time with Jo! I'm probably going to expand on this photo so be looking forward to a much better improvement if this sparks your interest at all...

Day 3
Unfortunately I had a really long day at work and I left my camera in my dad's truck... But luckily I captured this photograph yesterday at the sometime of the sewer photograph from yesterday. I really enjoy creating silhouettes of people, trees, animals... Actually just about anything that has character of some kind.

Day 2
Every once in awhile I catch myself trying so hard to look for beauty in our area and not being content with what God has surrounded me with. This normally leads to me saying "I wish I was here or there"... But then I am reminded that there is beauty everywhere we turn in life even in little things like the light from the sunset catching the bumps and grooves of an old sewer cover.
